Duncan Riddle

Duncan Edmund Riddle was born on 10 March 1924, the son of Edmund Arthur and Phoebe Elizabeth Riddle. He joined the temporary wartime staff of Westminster Bank at its London Euston Road branch in December 1939. 

 

He later left the bank to go on war service, becoming a Trooper in the Royal Armoured Corps. He died in Germany on 4 March 1946, a few days before his 22nd birthday.

 

Duncan Riddle is commemorated on a bank war memorial held at NatWest Group Archives.
