Lillian Jack was born on 5 November 1880, the daughter of George and Sarah Melville Jack. She was educated at Clint Road Board School. She joined the staff of National Provincial Bank in May 1917 at Liverpool London Road branch. She had a sister who also worked for the bank. Lillian Jack retired from the bank in December 1931.

On 12 March 1941 Lillian Jack was killed in her home in Wallasey as the result of enemy bombing action. She was 60 years old.
