Arthur Lennox Cook was born in Reading on 13 August 1891. He worked for Coutts & Co, London. During the Second World War Cook took on responsibilities outside work as an ARP Control Officer.
Cook and his wife Gladys Louisa were killed at home, 64 Bodley Road, New Malden, during an air raid on 21 February 1941. He was 49 years old.
Arthur Cook is commemorated on a bank memorial at Coutts & Co, London 440 Strand.
