Francis Samuel Wyatt was born in Fulham in 1887, the son of Francis and Annie Wyatt. He worked as a messenger at the London Bartholomew Lane office of Parr's Bank.
During the First World War Wyatt joined the army, serving as a Private in the London Regiment. He died of wounds received in action in France on 7 December 1917. He was 30 years old and left a widow, Kate.
Francis Wyatt is commemorated on a bank war memorial held at NatWest Group Archives where his name is given as Frank Wyatt.
