Percy Arthur Heather was born in 1886. From June 1902 he worked for Parr's Bank. He was also a member of the bank's staff sports club.
During the First World War Heather left his job at the bank's London Threadneedle Street branch to go on military service. By 1917 he was a Lieutenant in the Northamptonshire Regiment. He died on 12 July 1917 of wounds received in action on the Western Front. He was 31 years old and left a widow, Mary Constance.
Percy Heather is commemorated on a bank war memorial at NatWest London Liverpool Street Station branch.
