Leopold William Henry Fisher was born on 15 February 1888. He worked for Union of London & Smiths Bank at its London Princes Street office, and was also a member of the bank's staff sports club.
During the First World War Fisher joined the army, serving as a Driver in the Royal Field Artillery. He died in France on 22 September 1916. He was 28 years old.
Leopold Fisher is commemorated on a bank war memorial at NatWest City of London office and on another held at NatWest Group Archives.
