Albert George Feavearyear was born in Hampstead, London, in 1898, the son of Albert William Feavearyear, a jeweller's clerk, and his wife Louisa Ellen. He worked for London County & Westminster Bank.
During the First World War Feavearyear left his job as a temporary boy clerk at the bank's London Kingsland branch to join the army. By 1918 he was a Second Lieutenant in the London Regiment, on active service in France. He was killed in action on 5 September 1918. He was 20 years old.
