Harold would have been my great uncle. He was the youngest brother of my grandfather Johnson W. Double 39 and they had another brother Charles F. Double 29. All three died during WWI. Our family are very proud of them all. I have visited their graves/memorial in Belgium and Germany.

MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS LOST THREE SONS IN SERVICE OF BRITAIN WHICH WAS A GREAT FAMILY SACRIFICE.

HAROLD E. G. DOUBLE was the youngest of the brothers, his middle brother was CHARLES FREDERICK DOUBLE, and the eldest was my grandfather, JOHNSON WILLIAM DOUBLE.  They were all sons Emily and Johnson William Double snr.

Thank you for sharing this memorial that includes 19 year old Harold.

Thanks go to my cousins Sue Co-Stead and Ruth Double-Waller for their dedicated interest in our grandfather and his brothers.
