Harold Cater Conyers was born on 24 June 1898, the son of Raymond Cater Conyers and his wife Helen.
In May 1915, when he was 16 years old, Conyers went to work for National Provincial Bank of England as apprentice at its Bristol Clifton branch.
Conyers later joined the army, serving as a Second Lieutenant in the Gloucestershire Regiment. He died in France on 21 September 1918. He was 20 years old.
