Harold Frederick Camp was born on 3 June 1894, the son of Henry Daniel Camp, a machinist, and his wife Emily Ann Sophia. He went to work for Parr's Bank in about 1911.
In August 1914 Camp left his job at the bank's London Cavendish Square branch to join the army. Signaller Harold Frederick Camp of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry was killed in action on the Somme on 24 March 1918. He was 23 years old.
Harold Camp is commemorated on a bank war memorial held at NatWest Group Archives.
