Cecil Alexander Crowe was born in 1890. He worked for Ulster Bank, but in May 1915 left his job at the bank's Ballina branch to join the army, becoming a Second Lieutenant in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. He died in France on 9 September 1916. He was 26 years old.
Cecil Crowe is commemorated on two memorials at Ulster Bank’s Belfast head office: its roll of honour for staff who served in the First World War and its memorial for those who fell.
