Brian Wallace Boseley was born on 13 November 1898, the only son of Harry John Boseley and his wife Kate. In November 1915 he went to work for London County & Westminster Bank at its Kensington (OP) branch. In March 1917 Boseley left the bank to go on active service in the navy.
Telegraphist Brian Wallace Boseley was killed when the vessel in which he was serving as a wireless operator, HM Trawler Remido, was struck and sunk by an enemy torpedo on 2 February 1918. He was 19 years old.
Brian Boseley is commemorated on a bank war memorial at NatWest London Kensington Royal Gardens branch.
